The Bag

I was going to take a photo of the VERY full suitcase but can't find the camera. Think it might be in the bottom of said case.  Got an offer from Qantas to upgrade to Business so have taken it up as it gives me 30kgs.  Getting very excited.

10 days to go and the bag is down to 24kgs, hand luggage sitting on 4kgs so a bit of juggling to do.  Guess I won't be doing much shopping. Now it's all the little jobs to get done, hair, nails, prescriptions, pick up passport & travel documents....

3 Weeks 2day

Three weeks today I will be sailing down Sydney Harbour hoping that there are no more cyclones for the Qld coast as we sail towards Airlie Beach.  Had another run through with the suitcase this morning & the weight is getting better but still a way to go. I am hoping that the weather will cool down a bit before I go although the air-con on board will be a blessing.

Not Long Now

31 days to go and things are falling into place. Suitcase packed & repacked trying to get the weight down so that I can lift it. I can see me wearing jumpers and extra clothes just to keep the weight down.  Visa for China should be posted today and then just U.S. one to do.  Busy with School & Soccer trying to stay focussed on the here and now but it's difficult.
